The Northern Ndebele people (Northern Ndebele: amaNdebele) are a Bantunation and ethnic group in Southern Africa, who share a common Ndebele culture and Ndebele language. The Northern Ndebele were historically referred to as the Matabele which was a seSotho corruption of 'Ndebele'.
